E-learning The Organ Donation Act
Everything about registrations, the Donor Register and your role in donation.
On July 1, 2020, the amended Organ Donation Act came into effect. This stipulates that everyone aged 18 and older will be registered in the Donor Register.
For whom
The e-learning The Organ Donation Act has been developed for all professionals involved in the donation conversation. These include physicians, ICU nurses, ODC, DC, elderly care physicians and Physician Assistants.
Objective and content
The Organ Donation Act applies to every (impending) death of a patient who is eligible for donation. As a physician, you must then consult the Donor Register. This module covers what types of registration exist, with whom you conduct the donation conversation, and how to initiate this conversation.
The e-learning is a mix of theory, videos, and processing questions. You conclude with a test.
Accreditation
Accreditation has been granted for:

After fully completing the e-learning, you will receive a certificate and the accreditation points will be awarded.
Costs and duration of study
The e-learning is free and takes about 30 minutes to complete.
