Who are the Expert Meetings for?
Expert Meetings are primarily intended for donation intensivists. However, other medical professionals, such as retrieval surgeons and transplant physicians, are also very welcome if the topic is relevant to them. We always mention this in the announcement.
What can you expect from an Expert Meeting?
During an Expert Meeting, one central theme is addressed. Experts in the field give presentations, with room for questions and discussion.
In addition, there is a focus on case studies, such as ethical, medical, and legal issues or logistical bottlenecks from practice. Medical professionals bring up the topics themselves. During roundtable discussions, they discuss these topics with subject matter experts and colleagues.
