Who are the Expert Meetings for?
Expert Meetings are primarily intended for donation intensivists. However, other medical professionals, such as procurement surgeons and transplant physicians, are also very welcome if the topic is relevant to them. We always state this in the announcement.
What can you expect from an Expert Meeting?
During an Expert Meeting, a single central theme is the focus. Experts in this field give presentations, with time for questions and discussion.
In addition, attention is paid to case studies, such as ethical, medical, and legal issues, or practical logistical bottlenecks. Medical professionals bring forward the topics themselves. During round-table discussions, they discuss these topics with subject-matter experts and colleagues.
