Webinar: Organ trafficking and the Reporting Point for Organ Transplant Travel
On September 8, 2026, the NTS organized a webinar on organ trafficking and the Reporting Point for Organ Transplant Travel. You can watch the webinar back.
About the webinar
The reason for the webinar is the Reporting Point for Organ Transplant Travel, which is active from July 1, 2026. At this reporting point, healthcare providers report patients who have traveled abroad for an organ transplant. In this webinar, experts discuss travel for organ transplants, organ trafficking, and the consequences thereof for patients and donors from various perspectives. How often does it occur and what should you, as a healthcare provider, be alert to? In addition, it explains why the Reporting Point for Organ Transplant Travel was established, how the reporting process works, and what is expected of healthcare providers.
Target audience
The webinar is relevant for any healthcare provider involved in organ transplants.
