Start of ‘Check your donor status’ pilot for young people

On December 15, the NTS is launching a pilot aimed at young people. In this pilot, we ask young people to reflect on their registration in the Donor Register. Through short, relatable videos on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube, we are calling on young people to check their donor status.
We are focusing on young people between 21 and 24 years old, because research shows they are in a life stage where they are open to the message about organ donation. Through a special landing page on Orgaandonatie.nl, young people can view or update their registration.
The videos have been developed in a lighthearted, accessible style that fits the world of young people. The goal is to encourage young people to check their choice and consciously reflect on their registration. The pilot will run for six months and will be monitored and evaluated throughout.
