This is what our application procedure looks like
We're glad you're interested! We like to make things as clear as possible for you. Because a good start to a collaboration begins with an honest and transparent process.
Our procedure
Step 1: Your application: simple and online
Have you found a vacancy that suits you? Applying is easy via the online form. You add your CV and motivation and will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt. We will let you know whether we are inviting you for an interview no later than five working days after the closing date of the vacancy.
Step 2: The interview
If we see a match on paper, we will invite you for an introductory interview. This interview usually takes place at our office in Leiden. Sometimes we conduct the first interview online via Microsoft Teams. We would love to hear more about your experience and motivation – and, of course, tell you more about the position, the team, and NTS.
Step 3: The second interview: in-depth discussion and DISC assessment
If you make it to the second round, we will delve deeper into the content of the position and your role within the team. This interview (almost always) takes place at our office. Beforehand, we will ask you to complete a DISC assessment. This gives us insight into your behavior and motivations – and together we will see if there is a good match between you and the team.
Step 4: Shadowing in practice
After the second interview, we offer you – if it fits the position – the opportunity to shadow a colleague for half a day. This gives you a realistic picture of your future workplace and the team you will be joining. We think it is important that you feel comfortable with what we do and how we work.
Step 5: The offer
Are we both enthusiastic? Then we would love to make you a great proposal. You will receive a concrete offer from us with all employment conditions listed. We will go through everything with you calmly, so you know exactly where you stand.
Step 6: Welcome to NTS!
We think a good atmosphere is important. That is why we ensure you feel at home quickly – on your first day of work and in your collaboration with your colleagues.
