Functional Application Manager

Contribute to the information supply behind donation and transplant care in the Netherlands

A change in an application can affect multiple processes. A user request sometimes turns out to be larger than expected. As a Functional Application Manager, you oversee this coherence. You delve into the request, weigh the consequences, and work together with users and developers to find a solution that works and remains manageable.

You work closely with our custom software and use your experience for a special mission: saving lives, enriching lives, together we succeed.

This is where you make a difference

Together with three colleagues, you ensure the continuity and quality of our applications and reports. You know the application landscape, understand the processes behind it, and maintain an overview when questions and interests converge.

You:

• analyze user requests and translate them into clear functional solutions
• oversee the impact of changes on applications, processes, and users
• carefully guide changes from request to implementation
• monitor coherence, quality, and continuity within the application landscape
• take the lead on complex issues and help colleagues move forward

You are service-oriented, but do not automatically say yes. You ask sharp questions, make consequences clear, and provide a counterweight when necessary.

Much of our software is custom-made. You work directly with our in-house development team, and functional management is involved in the entire lifecycle of our products. This ensures quality, management, and continuity are taken into account from the start.

From donor to transplantation: within the NTS, the entire chain is close by. So you not only see what you manage, but also what you do it for.

You know the trade. You understand complex issues, maintain an overview, and feel responsible for solutions that also work in the long term. You are approachable in collaboration and firm when the situation requires it.

You:

• have at least five years of relevant experience within functional management or application management
• comprehend the connection between applications, processes, and users
• translate complex questions into clear functional solutions
• communicate easily with users, developers, and other professionals
• take substantive responsibility and share your knowledge with colleagues

Experience in healthcare is valuable due to our specific processes, data, and terminology. Experience from another complex environment can actually add an interesting perspective.

• A salary in accordance with the Hospitals Collective Labor Agreement (CAO Ziekenhuizen), FWG 55 (max. € 5,503 based on 36 hours)
• A one-year contract for 32 to 36 hours per week with the prospect of extension
• 8.33% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.33%
