Training for donation coordinators
The NTS organizes 4 training sessions every year specifically for donation coordinators (DCs). This consists of 3 online training sessions and one in-person training day.
E-learning Donor Identification by DC
This e-learning guides you through the role you have as a donation coordinator (DC) in donor identification.
Online training sessions
During the online training sessions, we cover current topics that donation coordinators need or new developments that the NTS wishes to share.
- Duration: approximately 1 hour
- Dates: the online training sessions follow directly after the online DC meetings
- Registration: accept the invitation via Teams
DC day on location
Once a year, an in-person training day takes place in the Utrecht region. This training lasts a full day and focuses on relevant themes, knowledge sharing, and interaction. The program is compiled in consultation with donation coordinators and policy advisors from the NTS.

Basic training for new DCs
For new DCs, there is a two-day basic training every year. Experts from the NTS and chain partners provide a lot of information about donation.
- Registration: New DCs will receive an invitation for this by email.
- Duration: 2 days, including dinner and hotel stay.
